cash flow operational assistant (m/f): in Luxembourg Centre

For our customer, a European Institution, we are looking for:

Cash flow operational assistant (m/f):

Your responsibilities:
• Input Data coming from various sources in the systems used;
• Assist the Officers in the preparation work of cash operations (provide data in a timely manner, flag potential critical situation of counterparties, …);
• Manage the administrative aspects of cash operations, such as storing / organising the documents;
• Maintain excellent relationship with client at all times;
• Participate to the implementation of new procedures.

S/he will have internal contacts and also external contacts with Financial intermediaries, mandators, Auditors and other relevant external counterparties, as applicable.

Qualifications:
• Certified secondary level education;
• Professional experience preferably in operations, middle office, accounting or in financial audit

Key technical/professional knowledge and skills:
• Good understanding of EIF financial products (equity, guarantees, loans) in assigned domain of responsibilities;
• Basic knowledge of legal documentation (interpretation of financial and legal documentation);
• Excellent numerical skills;
• Knowledge of financial analysis and/ or standard audit methodology would be an advantage;
• Proficiency in standard IT applications;
• Excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines, to react swiftly and effectively to new situations in a client-focussed and high quality service environment;
• Excellent organisational skills with an ability to prioritise;
• Analysis and problem solving;
• Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with internal and external clients;
• Good oral and written communication;
