For one of our clients located in the city center, we are looking for a :

 

Compliance Analyst (M/F)

 

Responsibilities Include:

- Execute Sanctions scan procedures; manage screening results received from the line-of business
- Execute Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) monitoring procedures
- Execute Transaction Monitoring (TM) procedures and review results for unusual activity
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in Sanctions, Transaction Monitoring, KYC and other compliance due diligence functions
- Work independently by taking initiative to meet established SLAs and other key metrics while maintaining quality standards
- Handle complex problems and issue resolution with guidance from leadership
- Resolve AML/KYC referrals from external payment advisors/vendors
- Resolve eBay member account issues including reviewing appropriate documentation and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Act as an advisor to other analysts to problem solve issues or complex cases
- Look for creative solutions to streamline or improve established AML/KYC processes
- Collaborate with other team members and mangers to be a key contributor on policies, procedures and other initiatives
- Support the AML/KYC leadership team with special cases and projects that require extensive research


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with focus in business, accounting or finance
- 2+ years of AML/KYC experience or 4+ years of fraud/compliance experience
- Fluent in English and German
- ACAMS or CFCS certification is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of MS Office applications
- Strong research and analytical skills, with a detail-oriented focus
- Ability to consistently meet all deadlines while maintaining high quality output
- Works effectively and independently, while being a team player
- Ability to make independent decisions in accordance within established policies and procedures
