We are currently looking, for one of our client within the Gaming Industry, for a :


Computer Operator – English and French speaking (W/M)

permanent position


Your mission :

  • Provide 24 hour front-line operations support on call.
  • Respond accordingly during system emergencies to minimize financial penalties.
  • Investigate incidents in the production environment, document incident reports and other follow-up items to the customer base.
  • Perform specialist training as required.
  • Request software changes, alert management to software changes to be made. Monitoring the performance of the on-line system and supporting equipment.
  • Constant reporting and explaining to the Operations manager or the customer on detected irregularities.
  • Verification of procedures and documentation.
  • Preparing and monitoring the testing of new software.
  • Modifying the system’s and games’ configuration.
  • Providing full staff service during day or night shifts.
  • Interface with local Operations Manager, Project Manager and customer staff as appropriate during projects.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and tests; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Resolve customer’s problems by answering questions and requests.


Your profile :

  • Fluency in French and English mandatory. Luxembourgish or German is a plus.
  • Applicant must be able to work flexible hours, supporting a system running 24-hour x 365 days a year. 
  • Willing to work in shifts (morning or late).
  • Technical college or the equivalent by experience with additional training in computer technology.
  • Notions of PC and standard PC software (Linux and Windows 7/XP/2000).
  • Notions of client server technology (UNIX, Linux), relational databases (DB2, SQL). It would be an asset if the candidate has some notions of scripting.
  • Notions of Networking (TCP/IP).
  • Notions of ITIL.
  • Eagerness to learn and interested in new technologies.
  • Demonstrate high flexibility and good communication skills.
  • Good problem analysis skills, reliable and flexible.
