We are recruiting for one of our clients, a global materials technology and recycling group, an Executive Assistant (f/m) speaking French and English for a maternity leave replacement.

The function is required to manage responsibilities with an high level of responsibility, autonomy and decision making due to the frequent and extended absence of the Managing Director


- Demonstrated effective assistant capabilities for senior managers and administrative capabilities for legal entities
- Excellent communication abilities; internal and external, written and verbal
- Ability to work autonomously, efficiently and with limited supervision
- Intercultural awareness
- Excellent organisational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work
- Good analytical skills with attention to detail
- Fluency in English and French


- Office and Administration:
•Responsibility for office infrastructure and environment
•Team travel planning and organisation, including cost reimbursement process
•Event planning and organisation; Board meetings, Customer and Team events
•Responsible for Supplier relationships and procurement. Point of contact between the Managing Director, managers and external clients
•Responsibility and local coordination of IS infrastructure
• Responsible for maintaining company related data
•Coordinate calendars of Managing Director and managers
• And other activities as advised by the Managing Director

- Finance and Controlling:
•Coordination and management of accounts payable and receivable
• Responsible for Petty Cash
•Support Finance Manager in the daily treasury position of the legal entities: execute bank transactions; deposits with UFS of excess cash; of foreign currencies, investments in associates, transfers to IHB through the E-banking system
• Preparation and filling of monthly VAT declarations for UI and UACL.
•Coordination and support of MICR activities

- Human Resources:
•Support external HR (Umicore Brussels) and payroll administration (sdworx)
•Responsible for local HR data including HR training register
