We are looking for a 


General practitioner doctor  (M/F/D)



Tasks :

Audit, Control and Inspection :

- To control the General Directorates located in Luxembourg with regard to the respect of health and safety standards ;

- Verify the implementation of corrective measures taken following controls made in the framework in the field of health and safety at work ;

- Risk assessment: role of the occupational work medicine doctor to the legislation in place.


Technical Analysis and Advice:

- Carry out the annual visits, hiring and consultations of preventive medicine ;

- Ensure periodic occupational health examinations, particularly for at-risk personnel

(educators, drivers, nuclear inspectors, etc.) ;

- Supervise the activities of the medical dispensary and manage medical emergencies ;

- Expertise in ergonomics, tropical medicine, workstation analysis ;

- Respond to staff requests for assistance in the area of supportive medicine ;

- Psychosocial support in collaboration with the psychosocial sector of the Medical Service ;

- Provide advice to the institution on medico-administrative matters (invalidity, half-time medical time, etc.) ;

- Inform and advise different institutions in the health field (preventive medicine, etc.) ;

- Participate in various committees, meetings, statutory bodies as a medical expert.

- Provide instructions and guidance to managers for the processing of files and  and the execution of procedures in the field of safety and hygiene at work, as well as in the field of ergonomics.


Inter-service coordination and consultation :

- Work in cooperation with other units/directorates on matters related to safety and occupational health issues.

- Responds to inquiries from line management and other departments of the institutions.


Job requirements :

- You have Job-Related experience: at least 5 years ;

- You have experience in an occupational medicine department. Practical experience in radiation protection (an experience with national accreditation and/or specialization in tropical medicine is an advantage) ;

- You have strong knowledge in medical care, healthcare systems and policies ;

- You are fluent in english (at least C1) and in french (at least B2) ;

- You are able to identify, to analyse, to conceptualise and of course to implement solutions and solve them ;

- You have strong communications skills, you have Ability to understand and be understood ;

- You have strong Negotiation skills ;

- You can Deliver Quality and Results ;

- You are Client oriented ;

- You are a team player ;

- You can work in Confidentiality.
