Are you looking for a job in the European Institution ?


We are looking for a:


IT and facilities assistant (M/F/D)


Overall purpose


Act as a first point of contact for all technical support issues (issues and problems related to the areas of IT, Security or Facility), and will report to the Head of IT, Security and Facility unit.


Functions and Duties


·        Provide first level support

·        Answer questions or resolve computer problems on local level.

·        Ensure the installation, conduct computer diagnostics to determine nature of problems, provide technical assistance and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.

·        Assist end-users to understand and use the computer hardware and software relevant to their work in view to achieve the best result.

·        Provide user support related to the local information systems for which s/he is responsible.

·        Ensure the follow-up of incidents; perform debugging and reporting of incidents.

·        Manage office supplies (ordering, distributing, stock-keeping)

·        Help with the management of inventoried goods (furniture maintenance, removals)

·        Help with the management of office space

·        Management of technical side on arrival of new officials.

·        logistical, technical, computer assistance and maintenance of the facilities (copiers, fax)

·        office equipment, order, purchase follow-up, distribution and control of office supply, contacts with suppliers

·        help on the inventory of the organisation’s assets



Job Requirements






·        Professional experience in an IT, Facilities or Security support team;

·        Experience in providing support to users;

·        Work experience in dealing with vendors and subcontractors;




·        Professional experience in contributing to projects;

·        Previous experience within an international and multicultural environment, preferably in a European Institution, body, office or agency.




·        You speak perfectly English (C1), any other languages would be an advantage;




·        Buildings and Supplies (incl logistics)

·        Information and Communication Technologies

·        (Applied) Computer Science
