My client is a bank - specialized in asset and wealth management, real estate management and corporate finance.

I am looking for an Operations Assistant Manager (f/m/d)

You will be working with a wide range of responsibilities, including:

Performing the key tasks of cash flow and settlement monitoring,
Reviewing the work of the team and ensure all established procedures and controls are completed accurately and in a timely manner,
Formulating and ensuring implementation of corrective actions for complex issues to resolve identified exceptions,
Assisting Department head in evaluating regulatory developments, assessing potential impacts on the operations and working with relevant departments to ensure effective implementation of controls and workflows,
Ability to cover all functions within the team when required.

Key differentiators for success :
At least 8 years Depositary background with experience in cash payments, Forex, securities settlement and lending/repo settlement.
A deep understanding of the depository bank function gained from a similar role in Luxembourg with experience in reconciliation, with holding tax and Corporate Actions preferred but not essential
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in leading a Depositary/Custody team
Excellent knowledge of Swift MT54x, MT103, MT2xx

Candidate profile :
University degree (Finance, Accounting or Economics)
5-6+ years of relevant working experience in similar positions
Positive ‘can do’ attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
Efficient, well-organized, independent professional attitude and strong communication and personal skills. Flexible and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Experience in working in an international environment

Good command of MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
