We are currently looking for one of our client a :

 

Print Shop Operator until june 2018 to begin with (m/f)

 

 

Your tasks : 

 

 

Prepare, operate, and maintain printing machines for simple or complex print orders on various paper media according to the rules of safety and production requirements.

Reports to Purchasing and Mail Manager

 

 

 

• Adjust the print settings and load the print media and consumables

• Make a first print job and continue with required adjustments

• Monitor continuously with regular checks the quality of printing and anticipate technical problems

• Ensure the maintenance and cleaning of the used equipment

• Ensure the quality of prints, their finishes and deliveries on time

• Conduct feasibility studies for the Print Shop

• Be the operational contact for all print requests

• Ensure administrative tasks related to the department

• Occasionally and when needed, update work guidelines related to print programs and templates in the department

 

 

All the above tasks must be performed in compliance with safety rules, security, compliance and in accordance with established rules and processes

 

 

Your profile : 

 

 

 

• Have a technical education diploma (CATP) or equivalent

• Have knowledge of offset printing software

• Have a first experience in a print shop environment

• Be familiar with standard office applications

• Show basic communication skills in English, French and German

• Refer to the training table

• Be able to work independently

• Be able to deliver results within defined timeframe

• Show ability to prioritize and be organized

• Be customer and team oriented

• Show user skills in applications and systems used in the department
