                       Procurement and Contract Management Officer (M/F)

Your role:

The Procurement and Contract Management Officer will contribute to the preparation and implementation of Technical Assistance activity and perform contract management activities on operations that are procured through various procurement procedures (published, non-published). The geographical coverage of assignments will be concentrated, but not limited to the Neighbouring Countries and Associate Member States.

Your tasks:

- To ensure the smooth functioning of individual TA assignments, monitor execution of contracts;

- To manage all administrative, financial and contractual aspects during the procurement and implementation of TA assignments;

- To control the quality of the deliverables of TA assignments together with teams and coordinate approval of deliverables;

- To input TA assignment-related data in the relevant internal databases, perform data quality control and integrity check;

- To act as chair of evaluation panels and draft tender evaluation reports;

- To contribute to the Division’s periodic activity reporting.

Your profile

- You obtained a University degree in Economics, Finance, Law, Engineering or a Business related subject backed up with the relevant professional experience;

- You acquired 5 years professional experience in a bi-lateral or multi-lateral context with donor-funding activity in developing and/or transition countries;

- You speak fluently English (C1) and French (C1);

- You have proven track record in implementation and/or supervision of consultancy services, either inside or outside the EU;

- You have professional experience in project monitoring and financial reporting;

- You have a good command of standard computer tools and any experience in working with SERAPIS, Business Objects and PeopleSoft will be considered as an asset;

- You are immediately available for a 2-month-contract.
