For one of our clients in WINDHOF we are searching for a:

 

European Tax Manager (m/f) ENGL 

 

For a permanent contract (CDI)



The European Tax Manager is responsible for the corporate tax structuring and strategy, tax planning for the Group, accounting for income taxes, property tax and VAT. He/She will work with businesses, service providers, and other tax professionals in carrying out his/her responsibilities.


Reporting to the European CFO, the main responsibilities will include:



- Responsible for the corporate tax structuring and optimisation
- Responsible for tax planning and the implementation in the local countries (mainly       Germany, BE, NL, Italy, LUX, FR) liaising with tax authorities, in charge of tax rulings
- Responsible of tax optimisation through transfer pricing and management fee   arrangements
- Delivering timely and accurate indirect tax advice to business units
 Other responsibilities:
- Responsible for the completion of federal, international and state tax returns including all   related analysis and support.
- Responsible for tax compliance in the different countries with the support of local teams
- Implementing, reviewing and optimising SAP processes
- Oversight of the tax returns for the Company’s international subsidiaries.
- Advising on VAT, local custom taxation use and property tax functions.
- Responsible for the audits of federal and state income tax and state and local filings.
- Liaising with operating management on tax issues and accounting staff on tax accounting   issues.
- Departmental liaison with IT staff on all technical matters relating to tax applications.
- Assisting the European CFO and Treasurer in estimating and monitoring annual cash taxes.

 


Qualifications :

- You have a Master Degree in Tax, Law, Accounting, Chartered Accountant or equivalent by experience, the ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in Corporate Tax, Tax optimisation and strategy, and transfer pricing issues.

- You preferably know SAP

- You have an excellent knowledge of EU countries tax legislation (mainly BE, LUX, NL, Germany and Italy) and international VAT.

- You are fluent in English

- You want to manage an international Team

- You are preferably available right now
