                                            Mandate Officer (M/F)


Your role :

The selected candidate will contribute to the business development as well as the implementation of mandates entrusted to the client in Northern & Central Eastern Europe. S/he will follow the implementation of existing mandates ensuring the management of the contractual obligations as regards development of operations, reporting and monitoring as well as represent the client at relevant boards/committees. S/he will also assist on the implementation of financial engineering instruments for the support of SMEs, in accordance with predefined investment strategies. In addition, s/he will explore business development opportunities within the region including (but not limited to) preparation for the future programming period and potential new initiatives.



Your tasks :

- To execute operational processes related to the management of a European structural and investment funds and other mandates under the responsibility of the Head of Division in charge;

- To maintain day-to-day contacts with the Managing Authorities mandating the client as manager under Fund of Fund initiatives, if relevant, and support in the development new relationships with relevant MAs;

- To liaise with relevant internal services to execute the tasks related to the management of the mandate in an efficient and timely manner;

- To prepare and participate, if necessary, in the Investment Board meetings;

- To support the process when transactions are being implemented under mandates managed by the Division ensuring the necessary interface and compliance with applicable mandate requirements;

- To participate in the overall business and product development efforts in Northern & Central Eastern Europe;

- To participate in horizontal tasks across the Mandate Management Department that go beyond the strict boundaries of own domain to facilitate the execution of the mandate.


Your profile :

- You obtained a University degree, preferably at postgraduate level in Banking/Finance or a related subject;

- You acquired at least 3 years of relevant professional experience, in a similar role or level of responsibilities;

- You speak fluently English (C1). Any EU Language spoken, especially from Eastern Europe, would be an asset;

- You gained previous experience in a Front Office position entailing management of contacts with public authorities as clients;

- Any experience combining some of the following would be an advantage: Guarantees, Lending, Micro-finance, Technical assistance related to support for SMEs;

- A prior experience in financial engineering through Structural Funds would be considered as an advantage;

- The knowledge of regional development issues and policies, legislation at national and/or EU levels would be an advantage;

- You have a Team-working and pioneering spirit;

- Your skills include strong commercial and negotiation assests;

- Your sense of responsibility, organisation and your initiative are unquestionable;

- You are available immediatly for a new opportunity.
