For one of our client, a leader of the IT industry, we are currently looking for a:

Project Manager (W/M)
1 year contract

In short

In close collaboration with the Luxembourgish Government, you will take a leading role in the country Digital Acceleration project.

Role & Responsibilities

• Take ownership of certain tracks where relevant, for example Talent Development, or Business Innovation (where there is interest or relevant experience).
• Plan and keep cadence of the program activities to timely achieve the project objectives.
• Guarantee orders are entered in the procurement tools with all the documents and data compliant for the approval from finance teams and other approvers when required.
• Tracking of orders and all admin archive and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Create and maintain a plan with financials, resources, services and products delivered into tracks/projects and those planned by the Track Leaders.
• Plan and chair regular meetings, status update calls, and internal steering committee sessions with the leadership team, track leaders and projects stakeholders.
• Work closely with internal resources, vendors, partners or subcontractors in order to develop scoping documents, place order, develop proposals, etc.
• Ensure effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the program.
• Proactively reach out to counterparts and teams for the purpose of understanding best practices and ensuring alignment of efforts.
Focus inwardly on the internal consistency of the program, and outwardly on its coherence with other supporting teams and programs.

Desired Skills

• A self-starter with an interest in technology and digital evolution.
• Fluent in the languages used in Luxembourg.
• Willing to adapt to changing and often challenging environment with a willingness to learn.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programs.
• Strong experience in PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to perform project management, cost management, operations and procurement functions.
• Solid knowledge of budgeting, expenditure monitoring, revenue tracking and resource allocation procedures.
