1.   Overall Objective and Responsibilities


                        Job Purpose:

·        Review of regulatory changes affecting the company

·        Analysis of impact of new regulations and regulatory rules to the business and prudential reporting

·        Oversight on the integrity (completeness and accuracy) of financial regulatory reporting associated with the company and its branches

·        Executed with reference to the Legal Entity Control Standards and to local GAAP/IFRS


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Assessment and management of changes in regulatory landscape, including regulations, directives, reporting requirements and local specific regulatory requirements

·        Participation in and reporting to relevant internal project working groups

·        Production and 1st line review of data/responses to Regulator requests for information ensuring all responses are of the highest quality whilst meeting internal/external deadlines set

·        Liaison with other support functions in the location as well as offshore

·        Participation in regulatory change projects as required (e.g. system, product)

·        Participation in ad hoc projects as required

·        Regulatory Reporting - analytical review and 1st line review:

v    Regulatory reporting for the company and branches covering the European activity of the company

v    Statistical Reporting

v    Ad hoc reporting to regulators

·        Ensuring appropriate controls and reconciliations are in place over all the reports generated



2.   Profile


·        Qualified Accountant/MBA/Finance


Work Experience Requirements:

·        5+ years of accounting/finance experience


Knowledge/Technical skills:

·        Knowledge of accounting standards (Luxembourg GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS)

·        Knowledge of prudential Basel/CRR/CRD regulatory and supervisory framework and rules

·        Strong analytical skills, management/oversight skills

·        Very good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·        Excellent command in both spoken and written English
