Our client is a Trust Company, committed to delivering high value corporate, fiduciary and administration expertise. 


Within your team you would report to your Team Leader and you would be responsible for a portfolio of clients, taking care of the following tasks:


-     Annual/periodical bookkeeping on IFRS or LUXGaap basis for client entities, with holding, financing, royalty and securitisation activities.

-        Preparing annual/periodical financial statements (including eCDF) for these entities within the legal deadlines or client driven deadlines

-         Handle BCL reporting, FATCA reporting, CRS Reporting;

-         Manage the annual audit of client entities within the legal deadlines or client driven deadlines

o   by providing all legal documentation and answering auditor’s questions about those;

o   by obtaining the necessary confirmations/third party documentation

o   by interacting between auditor, client, bank, other parties to terminate each audit with an un-qualified opinion

-         Liaising with the tax advisor for the annual corporate income tax return and reviewing those

-         Preparing and filing for annual/periodical VAT return

-         Process/review periodical waterfall payments and documentation for securitisations

-         Preparing payments of invoices and other payments based on transaction documents

-         Arranging for the necessary RCS filings for annual accounts, changes in directors/managers/

-         Review transaction documentation for bookkeeping purposes

-         Assist in the liquidation process of legal entities by preparing liquidation accounts

-         Correspondence concerning daily affairs of each legal entity in your portfolio with client, tax advisor, auditor

-         Filing

-         Assisting your colleagues with their portfolio


 Required knowledge:

-         Solid accounting knowledge of LUXGaap and preferably IFRS

-         Solid knowledge of Luxembourg Company Law and Tax Law

-         Working knowledge of the basic derivative instruments and when/how they are used, and how they are accounted for in the financial statements

-         Working knowledge of FATCA, CRS, compliance requirements

-         Good English speaking + writing skills, any other language is a plus.
