We are currently looking for a:
System Software Engineer (M/F)
Your mission:
· Validation of onboard software including Command and Data Handling and AOCS.
· Robustness testing and development of Fault Detection, Isolation and Recovery (FDIR).
· Satellite operations development and validation in python HIL test framework.
Your profile:
- Strong understanding of (C, python) software development, i.e. continuous integration, building, coverage, unit/system test.
- Ability to navigate through diverse information and quickly connect the dots.
- Experience with development of measurement and control systems.
- Proficient in working with Linux, gcc, ld, USB, CAN, I²C, SPI.
- Preferably familiarity with satellite equipment and architecture.
- Ability to commit to the plan and deliver the expected results on time, or to report proactively if any deviations are foreseen.
- Ability to rapidly expand application specific knowledge sets and skills where necessary and to quickly familiarize with new areas of responsibility.
- The ability to work autonomously, and analytically, and be results-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a distributed team, and well versed in using collaborative tools.
