We are currently looking for a motivated professional to join our team as an IT Risk Management Analyst. This role focuses on enhancing our existing risk management systems and workflows through automation and process improvement.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
· Assisting with the deployment and integration of risk-related databases and systems.
· Developing and implementing automation solutions for existing workflows and our SaaS database.
· Identifying opportunities for process improvements and developing best practices to increase operational efficiency.
· Performing process optimization, automation, developing best practices, increasing efficiency, enhancing capabilities, and mitigating risks.
· Maintaining the input and data quality of risk management systems.
· Conducting testing and providing feedback for system improvements.
· Documenting requirements, timelines, and all implemented automation processes.
KEY BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE :
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, finance, risk management, or an equivalent qualification.
· 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in IT developments, risk management, or related functions within asset management companies, advisory firms, or banks.
· Knowledge and proficiency in software and coding (e.g., Excel VBA, PowerBI, Python) or database knowledge is considered a plus.
· Strong analytical, investigative, and reporting skills.
· General knowledge and understanding of risk models and methodologies relevant for private asset classes.
· Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
KEY COMPETENCIES :
· Prior experience in investment risk at an Asset Manager.
· Experience in at least one of the following alternative investments in illiquid assets: private debt, private equity, infrastructure, or real estate.
· Strong quantitative skills.
· Experience in dealing with a highly regulated environment (in particular AIFMD).
· Hands-on experience in dealing with processes and multiple stakeholders.
