Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently work in both laboratory and production environments, ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment when handling chemicals.
Independently perform a variety of laboratory tests with minimal supervision, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
Take ownership of maintaining the operational capability of all laboratory equipment, including calibration, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
Acquire and analyze data to solve complex technical problems and provide robust support for ongoing development programs.
Coordinate and verify work and test requests, effectively communicate test results to relevant stakeholders, and prepare comprehensive written reports.
Provide critical assistance in R&D test preparation, execution, and in-depth analysis, as well as support for complaint investigations and quality control processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
A Bachelor of Science (BS) in Material Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline. Equivalent qualifications such as a 'Diplôme de technicien (DT)', 'BTS', 'BAC Techno STL (Science et Technologies du Laboratoire)', 'Chemielaborant:in', or 'Chemisch-Technische:r-Assistent:in' will also be considered.
Several years of hands-on experience in a Material Science laboratory is a significant advantage.
Proven knowledge in laboratory method development, method validation, and statistical analysis.
Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in German, French, and/or Luxembourgish is a strong asset.
