Capacity Planning: Coordinate closely with subcontractors to align shipping volumes with hub capacities. This includes monitoring critical factors such as loading/unloading constraints, storage availability, and water levels.
Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential shipping deviations. You will be the primary decision-maker in mitigating risks and communicating changes to customers and internal stakeholders.
Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in barge logistics by sourcing new operators, conducting market studies, and managing new RFQ tenders to challenge current market costs.
Financial Control: Validate logistics invoices, manage operational costs, and handle claims related to external hub activities or barge operators.
