The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-caliber professional to join the Depositary Funds Oversight team of a leading global financial services provider in Luxembourg. This role is critical in ensuring fund integrity through rigorous monitoring of investment restrictions and comprehensive risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will act as a guardian of fund compliance and operational accuracy. Your core duties will include:
Investment Monitoring: Performing meticulous pre-NAV and post-NAV monitoring of investment restrictions and conducting detailed risk assessments.
Fund Oversight: Executing reviews of NAV calculations, subscription/redemption flows, and income distributions for both traditional and alternative investment funds.
Operational Support: Contributing to various transversal tasks within the Depositary department to ensure seamless service delivery.
Your Profile
We are looking for an analytical mind with a "zero-error" mindset and a deep understanding of the Luxembourg fund industry.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of professional experience within a Depositary, Fund Administration, or Audit firm.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong command of industry regulations, specifically UCITS V and AIFMD, along with a clear understanding of the roles of ManCo/AIFM and their delegates.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; experience with both UCITS and Alternative Funds is a significant asset.
Languages: Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Soft Skills:
Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Strong organizational abilities and a deadline-oriented approach.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working effectively in a collaborative team environment.
The offer:
We provide a highly competitive remuneration package and a premium work-life balance for this temporary assignment:
Hourly Rate: €28.30 gross per hour (approx. €4,895.90 gross per month on average).
Bonus: 13th-month pay (calculated pro-rata based on contract duration).
Generous Leave: 34.5 holidays per year (pro-rata).
Meal Vouchers: Up to 18 vouchers per month, valued at €10.80 each
